trying to install wireshark on an HP-UX 11.11 server

Hello-
I am trying to install wireshare 1.1.1 on an HP-UX 11.11 server. It is not istalling 2 out of the 3 filesets.

Here is the output of the swjob -a log thfl1lba-0187 @ thfl1lba:/ command

It looks like it is looking for openssl.openssl-SHLIBS.

There are no filesets for openssl on this server:

[thfl1lba:ROOT]:/tmp # swlist -l fileset openssl

ERROR: Software "openssl" was not found on host "thfl1lba:/".

I have been trying to find how to install the filesets for openssl. Is there a depot to download for this?

I removed the partial wireshark package that had been installed earlier.

I installed the opensll package and it installed successfully.

I reinstalled the wireshark package and it failed again...for the same reason.

Here is an swlist of the opensll filesets. It does not appear to have the SHLIBS fileset that wireshark requires.

Hmmm....similar threads indicate other openssl packages that may have the required files:

I can't confirm this as the older package link is now dead, however newer packages are listed here:

Now that worked.

Previously I have installed one of the 0.9.7 revisions.

This time I installed 0.9.8k of openssl. It does includes SHLIBS.

all the filesets of wireshark are not installed.

I had to install version 0.9.8k of openssl which includes SHLIBS.
