SEND MAIL PROBLEM

Hi,

I am trying to start sendmail service in hpux 11.11, its showing some errors as below, kindly suggest me for the same

/sbin/init.d/sendmail start
/etc/mail/sendmail.cf: line 691: fileclass: cannot open '/etc/mail/sendmail.cw': Group writable directory
WARNING: Group writable directory /
451 4.0.0 /etc/mail/sendmail.cf: line 691: fileclass: cannot open '/etc/mail/sendmail.cw': Group writable directory
# mailq
/etc/mail/sendmail.cf: line 691: fileclass: cannot open '/etc/mail/sendmail.cw': Group writable directory

- What is the perrmission of /
# ls -ld /
- Do you get any error messages in syslog.log?
- What are the permission of /etc/mail directory and sendmail.* files in that directory?

Hi R.K,

Thanks for your support, problem has been cleared. previously its was 777 now i changed to 755.
