    <description>putting an install DVD into the DVD on the server, and rebooting to the EFI prompt, interrupt that and it should shows a fs(x) as the DVD rom&lt;BR /&gt;Read the manuals, all explained in there.</description>

      <description>I have closed all the threads and opening a new one..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This is new Installation:-&lt;BR /&gt;There is no data apart from vg00:-&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have installend 11.31 on external disk&lt;BR /&gt;I have 11.23 on internal disk&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Now I wanted to mirrior the external disk to the Internal...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have done the below:-&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# idisk -f /tmp/idf -w /dev/rdisk/disk6&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# idisk -f /tmp/idf -w /dev/rdisk/disk8&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#pvcreate -B /dev/rdisk/disk6_p2&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;#vgextend vg00 /dev/disk/disk6_p2&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;this gave an error&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Couldn't open physical volume "/dev/rdisk/disk9_p2":&lt;BR /&gt;Verification of unique LVM disk id on each disk in the volume group&lt;BR /&gt;vg00 failed.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Then I rebooted the server... now it does not boot up...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;now either I havee to bring the server up &amp;amp; running or&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;reinstall the oS... but to reinstall I do not have fs0 or fs1 or fs2... plz advise</description>

      <description>yes, because it appears that you have corrupted the origional boot disks.&lt;BR /&gt;Start with the DVD and do a clean install.&lt;BR /&gt;Then read the manual pages on mirroring an Integrity server boot disk.</description>
