I would like to remove disk6_p2 from VG00

# pvremove /dev/rdsk/c3t6d0
pvremove: Physical Volume "/dev/rdsk/c3t6d0" contains no LVM information

# dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/rdsk/c3t6d0 bs=256k count=100
100+0 records in
100+0 records out

it dosen't work

If this disk contains your VG00 you cannot remove it, why do you want to do this???

What is strange?

Note:

The "disk" in your vg00 is disk6_p2 - not disk6 !!!

Don't remove disk6, but follow the procedure in appendix here:

This is running since 20 minutes.I have not seen this before..
