topic not getting mounted. in Operating System - HP-UX

not getting mounted.

mount /dev/vg01/test /test123
vxfs mount: V-3-24706: /dev/vg01/test no such device or filesystem on it missing one or more devices..

i created a lv(logical volume) and try to mount it it shows the error as mentioned

Hi:

Did you 'newfs' (or 'mkfs') a filesystem within the logical volume?

no but now i did a newfs,

newfs /dev/vg01/rtest
mount /dev/vg01/test /test123.

thanks it got mounted.
