Hi Tito,

What is the o/p of:
# /usr/sbin/swlist -a state -a patch_state PHKL_31983

This is quite an old patch (you must be knowing this). May be it is already superseded, hence in "installed" state.

Regds..

Hello All,

In my system one of the patch is showing as in installed state.

I want to apply latest patch bundle wil this state of this patch will not harm my system.
I ran check_patches and it give this messege:

NOTE: One or more patch filesets are in the installed state, but
they do NOT include a configure script. Since these patch
filesets do not include a configure script, there is no
difference between the installed or configured state.

The patch filesets in this condition are:

PHKL_31983.VXFS-KRN

I did this : # /usr/sbin/swconfig \*

but still the same state with this patch.

Thanks in advance.

Titu
Hi Titu:

The message states, "Since these patch
filesets do not include a configure script, there is no difference between the installed or configured state."

Therefore, why are you worried? Move on.

Regards!

...JRF...
