Why the 2.5mb limit and can that be changed? I am having a problem with the /usr/sbin/acct/runacct command. Within the runacct command the acctmerg command tells me "file limit exceeded". I have traced this to too man files in the /var/adm/pacct*. With the amount of accounting records on my systems, my ckpacct job creates a new pacct* every 10 minutes. I cannot use ckpacct <LARGE number=""> because then I am over the 2.5mb limit. Any suggestions?</LARGE>
