      <description>I have a process started by root that is taking up a lot of CPU.       <description>Do /sbin/init.d/diagnostic stop . Then do, /sbin/init.d/diagnostic start.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hopefully you should see all the diag* process back again and with lesser cpu utilisation.&lt;BR /&gt;(cclogd is the chassis log daemon used in conjuction with Support tools manager to gather system data)</description>
