https://community.hpe.com/t5/operating-system-hp-ux/buffer-memory-paramters-and-glance-o-p/m-p/5231114#M468448 Dear Gurus, <BR /><BR />filecache_max and filecache_min on ia63 v3, rx6600 is kept at auto.<BR />With DB running on the server , memory utilization from glance shows 79%.<BR />I understabd this is due to buffer thru above 2 paramters and that<BR />glance memory utilization may not be corect picture.<BR /><BR />however, during a load test , the memory utilization in glance was 100%.<BR />vmstat showed po (vhand active, upto 132 po).My question :<BR />filecache paramter should be kpt as auto , but will setting it up manually <BR />to 30 % (filecache_max) and 15 % (filecache_min) be of help.(or any suggested value).<BR /><BR />regards.
