    <description>thank you all ,i have solove the problem.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;i copy an other people's tcb files to root.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;and edit :u_pwd=:\;and make sure there are no space.run #passwd .</description>

      <description>MY HP-UX Account is disabled ,so i do the follow things:&lt;BR /&gt;1./sbin/fsck -y&lt;BR /&gt;2、mount -a&lt;BR /&gt;3、/usr/lbin/modprpw -k root&lt;BR /&gt;4、edit /tcb/files/auth/r/root&lt;BR /&gt;set &lt;BR /&gt;:u_pwd=:&lt;BR /&gt;5、run #passwd&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;but it prompt like  "cannot access protected password entry";somebody can help me ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;regards!</description>

      <description>I have always unconverted to un-trusted machine, recover and convert again. Have been never a fan of editing tcb files directly though...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Step 5 restart the machine&lt;BR /&gt;step 6: login w/o password and change&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Refer for more&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1286473" target="_blank"&gt;http://forums11.itrc.hp.com/service/forums/questionanswer.do?threadId=1286473&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Cheers!&lt;BR /&gt;Anshu</description>
