"man 7 poll" (11.23) says:
...
FILES
/dev/poll driver device file
/sbin/init.d/devpoll start-up script that creates /dev/poll
/etc/rc.config.d/devpoll configuration parameters for start-up
script
....

No devpoll file exist.
What are these?
What product/fileset owns these?
How can I install these?

This file is on my systems:
crw-rw-rw- 95 0x000000 /dev/poll 11.11
crw-rw-rw- 45 0x000000 /dev/poll 11.23
crw-rw-rw- 15 0x000000 /dev/poll 11.31

I don't see any rc(1m) files for it, not even on 11.31.
Using lssf on it gives:
lssf: Don't know how to handle driver "evp"
Do you have the Event Ports Pseudo Driver in your kernel?

Of course, I did the home work.
> ll /dev/poll
crw-rw-rw- 1 root root 63 0x000000 May 12 10:27 /dev/poll
> lsdev -c 63
Character Block Driver Class
63 -1 evp pseudo
> lssf /dev/poll
lssf: Don't know how to handle driver "evp"

Well this last message is also funny...

The question is about /etc/rc.config.d/devpoll and /sbin/init.d/devpoll files.

>The question is about /etc/rc.config.d/devpoll and /sbin/init.d/devpoll files.

I assume this is stale documentation and if you have /dev/poll, you don't need those rc(1m) scripts.

There is no solution.
Somebody at HP must proofread and correct the documentation (man page).
