Do you have this driver on your system previously ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;For what I understand, the 'schgr' driver is use to control the robotic arm on the library tape.       <description>Hi Keynes,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please execute the command from Horia 1st and see if the system can add the 'schgr' driver.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;There's another thing that you need to have for the tape library, the 'stape' driver.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;See output of the command below :&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# tddiag|egrep -i stape&lt;BR /&gt;# tddiag|egrep -i sctl&lt;BR /&gt;# tddiag|egrep -i schgr&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Last thing you need to take care is try to install the latest patch of SCSI tape (PHKL_34552) and its dependencies.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Hope this information can help.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Adi.</description>

According to man autochanger ( &lt;A href="http://docs.hp.com/en/B2355-60130/autochanger.7.html" target="_blank"&gt;http://docs.hp.com/en/B2355-60130/autochanger.7.html&lt;/A&gt; ), &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;"By default, schgr and eschgr are not included in the system configuration (/stand/system) file."&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You must add that information in the system file. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;vi system&lt;BR /&gt;add a line entry at the end of the file like this:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;driver 1/0/4/0/0.2.2.255.0.0.0 sctl&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;(this is the HW path from your provided ioscan -f information)&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Best regards from Romania,&lt;BR /&gt;Horia.</description>
