collecting printer details

Hi,

We got server with multiple printers around 153
i am surprised i was able to get only 10 printer ip address from hosts file remainint not.

Could any body guide me on this.

You will certainly apricaiate by points.

Hi,

You can get the IP address details of JETDIRECT printers by using hppi.

/opt/hpnpl/admin/hppi

For Remote Printers :- Use SAM

Hi,

lpstat -o command will display all curently enabled print queues. Taking that list as input, check in side the folder,
/var/spool/lp/member
