user unable to login

user unable to login.
user home directory is mounted,NIS is working properly..and NFS is working properly.

How you are trying to login?
which service?
What is the error message?
what was the recent change?
were you able to loging with same username earlier?
Any other user is able to login?

Hi,

check .dt directory in the user home directory for 'startlog' and 'errorlog'.
Also - what happens if you do 'su - ' after logging in as root or another working user?

Hi,

1. Check if the port is open for the service through which user is trying to login.

2. Then see if the user account is deactivated.

If the problem persists please provide me the screenshots of error, the user is getting.

Hi Subrata,

Please check the file /etc/opt/ssh/sshd_confg where there is any deny line for that user..

Hope this solves ur query, if not please share the error to resolve.

OK, no jokes: check/post the /var/adm/syslog/syslog.log file for debugging the situation.

i got the solution which you are provide that is nor correct only permission issue is there. i already solve my problem
