Hey Experts,

Is there anyway to pull out swap withiut system reboot? My boss is very concerned about it.

Only if you are on HP-UX 11iv3 / 11.31. I There is a swapoff command with that version.

On all previous version, you must reboot.

To add, you may need to install the 'swapoff' product on your 11.31 server:

If I recall correctly, this will require a reboot. Of course, once installed you will not have to worry yourself about future reboots to remove swap devices :-)

you need to reboot the server ,unless you have "swapoff" command is on your system.

Os version please ,

Anything prior to 11.31 ==> reboot the server.

11.31 , please find the below product..
