kindly find the below syslog message,this message indicate any problem or not.kindly advice me.

Syslog message:

Jul 6 17:16:20 app2 vmunix: quad4map_32bit: rmap ovflo, lost [880897,881665)
Jul 6 18:12:02 app2 vmunix: quad4map_32bit: rmap ovflo, lost [881665,883201)

This indicates that you might have to increase the value of shmmni ->no. of system shared memory identifiers.

If you have HP-UX 11.23 or 11.31 please check "shmmni" kernel parameter usage with "kcusage" command.

like: # kcusage -h shmmni (Print five minute data for the past hour)

# kcusage -d shmmni ( Print hourly data for the past 24 hours)

man kcusage for details.
