Hello,

This morning I noticed that the HP-UX machine was rebooted during Friday and Saturday twice (var/adm/syslog/syslog.log and OLDsyslog.log).

Examine the other log files exposed the following messages:

/etc/shutdown - Reboot after panic: isr.ior = 0'1034009, 0'9943520

Reboot after panic: Data page fault

/var/adm/rc.log - local host HOST_NAME erez1 is not qualified; fix $j in config file /etc/mail: 7 aliases, longest 0 bytes.

In addition, the reset baton was blink in red.

Finally, after several reboot attempts the system was brought up.

1. What other files should give more info regarding the issue?

2. What steps should I take to overcome the problem?

BR,

Yali

No file from the latest crash has found.

Regarding the patches, you right, the policy is not to update. But it will change soon :)

Since I haven't handle patches updated yet, can you please help me with the issu?

1.
