Kernel config query

HI,

Below is the kconfig output from one of our servers.

# kconfig
Configuration Title
backup Automatic Backup
last_install Created by last OS install
#
# kconfig -w
The currently running configuration was booted from 'import.config'.

What is import.config. Is it the default created when OS is installed and is not the same as last_install?

Hi:

I would assume that this kernel configuration was *imported* and applied as such. See the manpages for 'kconfig(1M)'. 'kconfig' handles both exporting and importing.
