rx2800 doesn't prompt for ORCA during POST

This is a strange one. I've got a new system rx2800 that I want to configure with RAID 10.

During the startup it never prompts to go into ORCA.

I'm using the iLO serial console.

It does state "Currently the controller is in RAID mode" but no prompt.

The last system I configured (about a year ago) was super easy..If I recall it even stated something like F8 to configure.

I've got to be doing something wrong..

You need to install the saupdate.efi utility before you can use ORCA - see the attachments for details on how to obtain saupdate.efi, change the mode of the RAID controller and configure RAID volumes.

Note: Even though the attachments refer to the BL8x0c i2 servers the procedures are the same for the rx2800 i2 servers.

AFAIR you can start ORCA only by running this

drvcfg -s <Driver ID> <Ctril ID>

from EFI shell.

I've recently setup RAID volumes on two rx2800 servers and I had to install saupdate.efi on both so that I could change the Smart Array P410i Controller from HBA mode to RAID mode - I couldn't configure RAID volumes until I had done this.
