32bit or 64bit install HP-UX

Hi there! I just read lots of 32 or 64 bit issues about HP-UX OS. I have HP-UX March 2003 installation CD's. How can i determine if this is 32bit or 64bit OS? Therefore i want to install 32bit OS on my HP-UX machine which is 64bit. Is that possible?

Hi,
The Installation media contains both versions. The installation process detects the hardware and select the correct version automatic. Don't remember if it is poosible to force the process to install the "wrong" version, if it is, it should be done from the "Software selection" menu in the main installation window.

Hi,

Both versions are contained in the same media. However it depends on the OS version and the hardware model wheather you can install 64 Bit or not. HPUx 11.00 onwards every media contains both 32/64 bit installations and you can choose it while installing.
