    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would like to known if is it possible to eliminated devices (disks) with CLAIMED HW on the ioscan, before that the storage equip remove it.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is it possible to do # rmsf -H /dev/dsk/cxtydz &amp;nbsp; ? or this command is only to NO_HW devices?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The reason for that is that the storage equip wants to e&lt;SPAN class="short_text"&gt;&lt;SPAN class="hps"&gt;nsure that the disks&lt;/SPAN&gt; &lt;SPAN class="hps"&gt;are not being used.&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class="short_text"&gt;&lt;SPAN class="hps"&gt;Thanks a lot of,&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;SPAN class="short_text"&gt;&lt;SPAN class="hps"&gt;Carmen.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/SPAN&gt;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;rmsf&amp;nbsp;-H "HW_PATH" can be used to remove CLAIMED as well as NO_HW. However be careful while removing CLAIMED hardware.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Device file name can't be used with -H option. HW path should be specified when -H option is used.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Note: Incase if you feel you had done something wrong, run "insf -e" to get the device back (online &amp;amp; CLAIMED).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
