    <description>&lt;PRE&gt;getconf KERNEL_BITS&lt;/PRE&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;That said, I don't think there is a 32-bit version of HP-UX 11.23 at all.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;After a quick glance to the HP-UX support matrix, I think all systems capable of running 11.23 are also all 64-bit systems.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;A 64-bit version of HP-UX OS can also run 32-bit HP-UX software, but not vice versa.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
