/opt/openssl compatibility links package for PARC OpenSSL in /usr/local

Hi folks,

I ran into some difficulty here when we tried to run something that was looking for the HP OpenSSL in /opt/openssl when we had the PARC OpenSSL in /usr/local installed.

The attached PSF creates a package which sets up the necessary symlinks to direct /opt/openssl access over to the PARC installation.

You still have to override dependency analysis on the package which requires the /opt/openssl, of course, but these links will allow it to work normally once it's installed.

I offer it here in the hopes that it will prove useful to others, as so much information here has proved useful to me over the years.

You can turn it into a package like so:

swpackage -s /var/tmp/openssl-compat.psf @ /var/spool/sw

I don't see any attachments. You may have to use a .txt suffix to attach.

Yep, .txt suffix was it.
