share local dir using http

Hi All,

Need all your help pls..had a problem with sharing a local directory.Earlier user is able to access the local directory by using

http://<servername>:8201/<dirname>.But now he is not able to access.Please help how to resolve.

So what is the error that the user receives?

have you checked the web server on the host to make sure it is running?

I am new to HP UX..

Performed below steps

ps -ef | grep apache

checked the apache dir in /opt which is not present.
