I need to do some cron job scheduling. I would like to know some site where I can get some info about cron process, cron scheduling, generating logs etc..

The man page for cron is very helpful. Even has examples.

In addition to the man pages for 'cron' sell also those for 'at' and for 'crontab'.

Hi,

Check out the cron chapter in Managing Systems and Workgroups: A Guide for HP-UX System Administrators (HP-UX 11.0, HP-UX 11i). Go the Ch. 9 - Administering a Workgroup and then to the How To section. From there, select Scheduling a cron Job.
