    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello Mathew&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You should specify that the local server operate in symmetric active mode with the remote server. This means that you should add in both configurations the directive:&lt;BR /&gt;peer &amp;lt;other_node_name&amp;gt; version 3&lt;BR /&gt;I believe that you could omit "version 3" as it is used by default (read the man page for NTP server)&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;We had a two hpux 11iv3 server with cluster . we have configured one as NTP server and other as client . But the time is not synchronizing from NTP server .There is a difference of around 1 minute , I think this will cause problem when the cluster comes up during failover .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Can someone tell me what should be the problem&amp;nbsp; . I have attached the ntp.conf from both servers .&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
