Need a script to add multiple users listed in file...

Hi All,

I will appreciate If anyone can help me in adding the users in HP server by using a script.

I do have a file containing the list of users with the below details.....
USER ID PASSWORD GROUP NAME::GROUP ID Shell Home Directory

e.q. test1 testpasswd testgroup::110 /sbin/sh /home/testdir

I have basic idea that I can read this file line by line and use positional parameters from it

The number of users are almost 1000+

You should be able to use useradd after encrypting the password.
