Adding HPUX server to HP-SIM server

Hi,

I have some servers in my environment running HPUX 11.11, 11.23 and 11.31. i need to add them to my HP-SIM server. Dont have much idea in this. so, need your help here. Please share the below details with me.

1) what is the minimum requirement for a server to add to HP-SIM server to receive alerts.

2) Is that bundle/software availble of web or does it need any license?

3) procedure to install and configure the hpux client for HP-SIM.

or later versions have all the detailed steps.

Just google "Managed Systems Configuration Guide".

Hi Torsten,

I have seen on the PDF, that it is written to download the HP-SIM product from the weblink. Please tell do we need any license to install HP-SIM on HPUX servers or it can be installed without license?

You can also install HP SIM on a windows system. The product is free.
