    <description>A good check would be the basic vmstat command. Should work on pretty much any platform. check the run queue (r), i/o or swap blocked processes (b), runnable but swapped out (w). Memory, paging information, CPU, faults, etc.. Check the man page for detailed usage or ask Professor Google.</description>
