      <description>&lt;P&gt;HI,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I have just installed HBA card in BL860c.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;On ILO it is showing Fine, able to find the hardware&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;QLogic QMH2462 4Gb FC HBA for HP c-Class BladeSystem&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;but in O/S (HP-UX 11.3) it is showing below error.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;0/3/0/0/0/0: Fibre channel Driver Read bad NVRAM Header&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Additional status is 0x03&lt;BR /&gt;status == 0x01: Bad/Incorrect Signature&lt;BR /&gt;status == 0x02: Incorrect minimum version&lt;BR /&gt;status == 0x03: Incorrect Checksum&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;init of hardware not successful. id=10772432 and my_isc=d&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;What could be the problem Guys as the same problem is coming in 4 Servers in which we have installed 4 new HBA cards.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;During the Server Booting it is given a error&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;"fibre channel adapter nvram error binding aborted"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I had tried to Update the Firmware using batch fcd_update4.nsh utility in efi shell. It shows that it is updating but after reset it agains shows same error.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Below are the Error Screen Shot&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Well, I have never done udpates like this outside of the script provided. &amp;nbsp;I did note that within the firmware package there is an efiutil.pdf document that describes the nvram_write command among others. &amp;nbsp;I also noted a 'diagnostic' command that may be useful.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I would just advise caution. &amp;nbsp;If your card's NVRAM is corrupt, then I guess there isnt much to lose. &amp;nbsp;If, for some reason, the problem is elsewhere, you can certainly cause more problems by writing the wrong data!&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;-Bob&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;File name is qmh2462.dat in which i had gave while nvram_write command.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Ploblem is solved now . All the HBA's are detecting now.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
