System getting hang while using command

Hi friends,

While i am using any commands in my HP_UX my server is getting hang .. Can any body please help out ASAP

Hi ,

Please provide some more details like System ,Memory & etc ..

That should be related to System Physical memory or Root disk issues...

yes i have checked that, and my root disk utilization is around 100% most of the times or around it.

So what i can do to resolve this???

You need to clean up your disk space usage. If /tmp or /var/tmp are on /, you need to make sure there are no large files.

You need to make sure if there were large files, you didn't remove them while they were still open.

check for disk , may be it gone bad. check for vmunix error in dmesg/syslog/event.log.
