disk slow while creating table space..

hello there!

hardware : rp7410
os : 11i
oracle : 8.1.7(32bit)

our customer complained about disk i/o while creating tablespace. it takes 6 minutes to create DB tablespace 1G.
usually, it takes 3 minutes..
and i have no problem with disks hareware.why does it take long time?

i finally found the answer

in case of differing between DB_BLOCK_SIZE and file system block size, it happens.

you can know file system block size : df -g

just, i would like to share my knowledgement.
