    <description>&lt;P&gt;Hi there&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have an N class server with 11i version of HPUX.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;One of the disks faild so I've replaced it with new one.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;ioscan -fnCdisk says:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Disk 3 0/5/0/0.8.0.255.0.0.0 sdisk NO_HW DEVICE SEAGATE ST39102FC&lt;BR /&gt; /dev/dsk/c3t0d0 /dev/rdsk/c3t0d0&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I was trying insf -e, but it didnt help.&lt;BR /&gt;I was trying other disks, and sytuation is the same. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I dont want to reboot the system.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Is there any other way to make system notice the disk is there ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;P.S.
