      <description>You might prefer to just type lanadmin without the options, then type lan when the first menu appears then display.  That will show you your first NIC.  Look in the top two lines.  You can then change to the next nmid (10.20 and earlier) or ppa (11.0 +) and do display again.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Ron</description>

      <description>lanadmin -x then followed by ppid or nmid depending upon OS version.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Check with lanscan with what ppid/nmid is associated with configured lan cards.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Also you can check this with sam &amp;gt;networking and communication &amp;gt;network Interface cards&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;-Goodluck&lt;BR /&gt;-USA..</description>
