      <description>&lt;P&gt;I am trying to use a utility that comes with SAP but get the error:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Unable to open IPMI device /dev/ipmi: status 13 (Permission denied).&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;The rights on the device is:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;crw------- &amp;nbsp; 1 root &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; root &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;75 0x000000 Mar 18 &amp;nbsp;2011 ipmi&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Since SAP is trying as another user can or should I change the rights on the impi dev? &amp;nbsp;Since I don't know what it is I am usure what changing might cause I figired I'd ask here first...&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Vince&lt;/P&gt;</description>
