    <description>&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;Whenever i logged in after system reboot &amp;nbsp;the following system error appears&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;U&gt;esmd: System Error: The EVM daemon has failed and cannot be restarted&lt;/U&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I tried the steps already mentioned in the forum.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;1. I checked the patches installed&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;2. I copied evmstop and evmstart files from other server which and all are same version&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;still i am getting the same error&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;anyone please help me how can i overcome this issue ......&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello freinds,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Above mentioned problem is solved. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Problem was solved by this way - Ensure that there is softlink between / directory &amp;nbsp;to the directory which contains evmstop and evmstop script files.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Command i used is &lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;ln -s /usr/bin2 /&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks for your support&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;&amp;gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/STRONG&gt;ln -n /usr/bin2 /&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For a softlink you need "ln -s".&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;You can edit your post by using: Post Options &amp;gt; Edit Reply&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;</description>
