Putty wont show login prompt

I just loaded a new HP-UX Polson server with 11vi3 march2014, its on the network and i can SSH to it from another server, but i can not use putty to ssh to it. i am not sure what i am missing.

any thoughts or idea would be appreciated.

Are address, mask and gateway correct on your PC? Does ping or telnet or ftp work? Browser to SMH? Any kind of network access? Just a thought ...

DUH i cant believe i missed that, yeah the gateway wasnt setup for some reason.....LOL..
