    <description>&lt;P&gt;I know this post is old, but I'm gonna chime in anyway, because I too questioned the tuneserver recommendation.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is the only post I found related to the search that I did.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;SInce semmsl actually 'defines the minimum recommended semaphore value', I believe that the tuneserver is correct.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;I am leaving my&amp;nbsp; semmsl&amp;nbsp; set at 128&amp;nbsp; as recommended by tuneserver.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;# kctune semmsl&lt;BR /&gt;Tunable Value Expression Changes&lt;BR /&gt;semmsl 128 128 Immed&lt;BR /&gt;#&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thanks for reading;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Shawn&lt;/P&gt;</description>

However, semmsl tunable&lt;BR /&gt; values lower than 2048 may cause other such applications to fail.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can someone recommend a value for a cell manager in a very large environment? tuneserver is recommending a strict value but I think it is incorrect.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thank You,&lt;BR /&gt;Tonya Underwood&lt;/P&gt;
