Mailx attachments ( I know!!! RTFF's! )

Dear all,

Just a quick question - does anyone know of a way to uuencode multiple attachments to one email via mailx - ie a variation on the uuencode f f |mailx -m -s "test" Someone@somewhere.net theme?

I appologise for posting this, it's just that I'm short on time and have waded through about a thousand forum answers so far, without sucess!

Any comments tips warmly welcomed as ever!!

no RTFF's though ;-)

Hi,

( cat preface.txt; uuencode file1 file1; uuencode file2 file2) | mailx username

for i in `echo filename1 filename2 filename3 ...`
do
uuencode $i $i.txt
done|mailx -m -s "test" username@whereever.com

Works like a champ!!!
