Cannot access the console / shell of RX6600 server - Can't get past the Login / Password Prompt

We aquired multiple HP RX6600 servers and are unable to access the console / shell on 2 of them.

After pressing the reset button for 5 seconds and using the Username/Password combination of Oper/Oper or Admin/Admin as prompted., we are unable to access the console using the CO command. I am met with:

GenericSysname [HP Release B.11.31] (see /etc/issue)

Console Login:

I am unable to proceed from there. Username Admin does not work. Any solution?

This is the HP-UX console, use root to login.

Press CTRL b to access the MP.

Torsten,

I tried root as the login but the password prompt remains. Is there a default? Also, when trying to execute commands in the MP it states I have insufficient privledges: "This user has insufficient privleges to execute this command."

Try to start over, press the mp reset botton more than 10sec and watch the console.

I held the reset button for more than 10sec and the usual text came up:

Only default users are configured.

Use one of the following user/password pairs to login:

Admin/Admin

Oper/Oper

If you use either pair to login then attempt to use the CO command you are met with the second Login prompt I mentioned before.

Console Login:

This is the login prompt of HP-UX. Use root to login.

If the password is lost, consider to boot into single user mode and reset the password.

However, press CTRL b to get the MP menu.
