    <description>&lt;P&gt;"Zero data loss"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;This is a requirement without bounds which means that there is no correct answer.&lt;BR /&gt;What if someone cuts the cable?&lt;BR /&gt;Or there is a power failure?&lt;BR /&gt;Maybe a circuit quits working in an I/O card?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Is the transmission distance less than 1 foot? 1000 feet? 500 miles?&lt;BR /&gt;What are the two SANs involved? Do they have replication firmware installed?&lt;BR /&gt;What is the replication time frame? 1 second? 1 hour? 1 week?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;As you can see, there are just too many questions that are not answered in the specification.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
