HP-UX Patch Download

Hi all,

I need a patch for the linker for on my C240 workstation running HP-UX 11.11.

The patch is called PHSS_33035 or later. Where can I download it? It used to be available on ITRC.

You must have a HPE Software Support Contract in order to download patches. I think that's been a requirement for 5 years or so now.

Unfortunately there's no way to get patches without a contract.

Oh well, that's really sad :-(. There's not even an option for hobbyists, like the hobbyist licenses for OpenVMS? Also not even for the linker? Not having that linker patch renders the whole box unusable for me because newer gcc (other than ancient gcc-2.95.3) don't work without it :-(.

It's just a patch for a linker ... sigh...

Nope, not that I'm aware of.

I'm sure HP's position is that a patch is a patch. If they give away one, then that opens the door for everything else.
