    <description>&lt;P&gt;Can someone tell me how to read files from this tape drive? Not to restore but to copy files store on tape. What program or utilities should I use. Window operating system.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>I installed a new DDS3 tape drive this morning and need to ask if there is anything else that I need to do.  After connecting the tape drive to the server I did an ioscan -fnC tape and see that the tape is there.  Here is the information.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Class     I  H/W Path     Driver S/W State   H/W Type     Description&lt;BR /&gt;=====================================================================&lt;BR /&gt;tape      4  0/0/1/0.2.0  stape CLAIMED     DEVICE       HP      C1537A&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;What do I need to do before I can use the tape drive?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks for the help.</description>
