I'd probably try reinstalling Diagnostics first. It sounds as if something has gotten corrupted and a reinstall will be the easiest way to fix it I think.

Hi Mark,

Try the STM FAQ,

http://docs.hp.com/hpux/onlinedocs/diag/stm/stm_faq.htm

you can also check out other STM links from hp docs site,

http://docs.hp.com/hpux/diag/index.html#Online%20Diagnostics:%20Support%20Tools%20Manager%20(STM)

Hope this helps.

Regds
Hi,
I had the same problem recently and had to reload STM to get it back.
I was unable to figure out the catalog message it was looking for. "for grins, I even loaded the full catalog from an identical system, hoping that would help. No go unfortunately."
If you do find the catalog file without reloading. Please post it. I would love to know for future reference.
Good luck,
Kel
