hp flexfabric 5700 console port showing garbage characters

Folks,
When connecting to hp flexfabric 5700 via console port, the connection is established but it prints a weird symbols. Does anyone know how to fix this?
I used the following command in ubuntu
sudo putty /dev/ttyUSB0 -serial -sercfg 9600,8,n,1,N

The default is 9600 baud. Try different baud rates.
