VxVM - Error removing disk from Disk Group

vxdg -g dggroupname rmdisk disk99

VxVM ERROR V-5-2-266 Removal of disk disk99 failed.
Error: VxVM vxdg ERROR V-5-1-10128 Operation requires an associated record

Background:

I was in the process of moving data from 1 storage array to another storage array. I made a plex to mirror the data over. I then removed the original plex from the disk group, leaving the new storage array online. After that, i forgot to remove the disk from the disk group before running the following command:

rmsf -H 64000/0xfa00/0x1b9

Now I am showing the following when i issue vxprint -htg dggroupname

dm disk99 - - - - NODEVICE

Am I stuck between a rock and a hardplace to get this disk removed from the current disk group? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
