      <title>Logical Volume Problem</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Dear all;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp;&amp;nbsp; Kindly be informed that when I tried to perform the full backup on the HP RPserver&amp;nbsp; I had face some sever problem related to Hard ware issue on the standby Hard desk it may be failure and need to be replaced ASAP by a new hard ware for the failure hard desk.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;My conclusion for the hard ware failure is depend on the following trace and logs:&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;OL&gt;&lt;LI&gt;The output of the command vgdisplay show that the hard desks are stale and not synchronized due some problem on the standby hard desk&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;The output of the sys log show some error on the standby hard desk.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Also the ignite trace are full of error for the Hard desk.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;Also the Full backup trace contain some error for the hard Desks.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;LI&gt;The manuall synchronization for the logical volume are fail.&lt;/LI&gt;&lt;/OL&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;All the required traces and logs are attached. waiting your Feedback ASAP...&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I agree that it appears that you have a bad disk.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Other than that, I don't see a question anywhere in your post.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;my question is does this bad hard desk make the Full backup of the system is stopped....and how i can fix this bad hard desk...i tried to use "lvsync" but it fail to make the synch for the logical volume&lt;/P&gt;</description>
