    <description>&lt;P&gt;Did you just remove the VG? &amp;nbsp;What about the disks that make up the VG? &amp;nbsp;If you do an 'ioscan' are all of the LUNs from the EMC array still available to the systems?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the LUNs are still there you should be able to recreate the /dev/vg directories and the /dev/vg*/group files and then import the disks related to each VG.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hopefully you have a configuration listing that shows all of the VGs that were on the system and the disks that were a part of each VG. &amp;nbsp;If so, recreating this should be relatively straightforward.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;For more information on importing a VG, have a look at the vgimport man page.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello every body IM in serious situation with my two HP-ux servers they should be in cluster mode connected with emc cx500 I have database and application on both so what I did ? I removed all vg related to emc path by mistake is that mean my data lost ? If yes what should I do ? and if no and I hope so what should I do also ? Is there any way to recreate them and reconnect them to its origin disks ? I appreciate your kind replies ASAP.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you in advance&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Aws&lt;/P&gt;</description>
