      <description>This depot had been used to install successfully until yesterday.  Files were deleted from the server in the /var &amp;amp; /opt directories.  Even though the files have been restored I know get this error.  &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;* Reading Target System's Installed Product Database (IPD)&lt;BR /&gt;       * Target IPD:   S0065240&lt;BR /&gt;       * Reading Source Depot(s)&lt;BR /&gt;       * Source depot: 168.200.65.9:/var/opt/ignite/depots/Rel_B.11.31/core&lt;BR /&gt;ERROR:   An error was encountered while attempting to access the catalog of the&lt;BR /&gt;         Software Distributor location&lt;BR /&gt;         "168.200.65.9:/var/opt/ignite/depots/Rel_B.11.31/core". The underlying&lt;BR /&gt;         swlist command failed.&lt;BR /&gt;         -&lt;BR /&gt;           "168.200.65.9:/var/opt/ignite/depots/Rel_B.11.31/core":  You&lt;BR /&gt;           do not have the required permissions to select this target.&lt;BR /&gt;           Check permissions using the "swacl" command or see your system&lt;BR /&gt;           administrator for assistance.       <description>is the remote source a  NFS share ?&lt;BR /&gt;Source depot: 168.200.65.9:/var/opt/ignite/depots/Rel_B.11.31/core&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you do &lt;BR /&gt; swlist -l depot -s &lt;REMOTE hostname=""&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;does it list this depot you are trying to install from ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Make sure you can do . swlist -s &lt;REMOTE hostname=""&gt;:/&lt;DEPOT name=""&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks&lt;BR /&gt;Manix&lt;/DEPOT&gt;&lt;/REMOTE&gt;&lt;/REMOTE&gt;</description>

      <description>I had some secrets files that had not been restored.  After I restored them the install went smoothly.</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Dear All,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; It must be the problem with hostname which is mentioned on /etc/hosts (or) DNS entry.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Check the IP with "netstat -in"&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Check the /etc/hosts whether IP and the hostname are correct.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;check with nslookup &amp;lt;hostname&amp;gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;It should give the proper IP and hostname.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Its worked for me.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Regards,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Arockiasamy K&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;It looks like a permission issue, try changing permission of depot files with below command.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;# chmod -R 755 /location_of_depot&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;If the depot is NFS shared, check whether read/write permissions are given or not....&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Best of luck!&lt;/P&gt;</description>
