I have a question in mind...

when I take the ingnite backup of the server, What are the things backedup in the tape.

In other what are the things inside the tape.

what is the main thing I need to take up as backup if I want to restore my system from that tape.

Thanks and regard

Ashish .

Moved from Servers>General to HP-UX > ignite

In order to restore an image, you have to boot from either an ignite server or install media, then point to the tape drive. No direct tape boot possible, AFAIR.

Make sure the tape is already loaded into the drive.
